God has placed eternity in the hearts of humanity. The Adamic race is unique among creation. We crave immortality, but that craving for many is silent until faced with a terminal disease. That’s why we must remind sinners that they are part of the ultimate statistic—ten out of ten die—and plead with them to listen to the claims of the gospel of salvation.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
