God’s anger should be expected.

by The Daily Evidence
God’s anger against our sins is not only justified, it should be expected if God is good by nature. No judge in a civil court would be considered a “good” judge if he allowed crimes to go unpunished. If he is good, he must see that justice is done, and if God is perfectly good, He must see that perfect justice is carried out on the Day of Wrath. The demands of a perfect, unbending Law leave every one of us in terrible trouble. Who of us hasn’t lusted and therefore violated the Seventh Commandment (see Matt. 5:27,28)? Who hasn’t borne false witness, stolen, etc.? The Law leaves us guilty and “brings about wrath” (see Rom. 4:15), and it is that knowledge that drives us to the cross.
Micah 7:9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord, Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my case And executes justice for me. He will bring me forth to the light; I will see His righteousness.

RULES OF THE ROAD:

1)The Names and Titles of God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior will be respected at all times.
2) Discussion is encouraged, however, respect for other people and their opinions is the rule---play nice.
3) No profanity, allusions, innuendos or just plain nastiness will be tolerated. Decency WILL prevail.

This is MY house and YOU are a guest here and differences of opinion will be tolerated as long as you conduct yourself accordingly. If "the exercise of civility is beyond your ability" or you were never taught by your parents, feel free to take your toys and go home and vent your pent-up anger elsewhere.
