Franklin Graham: Secularists have taken control of America

Addressing the crowd at the Oklahoma State Evangelism Conference last week, world-renowned evangelist Franklin Graham admittedly took a different spin than his iconic father, Billy Graham, on the podium and criticized America, declaring that "secularists have taken control of our country."

The president of the Billy Graham Evangelist Association admonished believers in America for standing by while godless, democratically appointed government officials rip the Christian foundation of the country out from under them.

"Our country has changed, and we've got to take a stand," Graham exhorted the Oklahoma City crowd, according to The Christian Post. "We live in a secular society led by people that call themselves progressives. Secularists … have taken control of our country. And we have just sat back and it's happened. And we haven't even realized it's happened."

Not my father's world

Graham then said that he is not afraid to talk about many of the issues his father didn't typically address and critique, noting that the bulk of the senior Graham's ministry took place during a time before American society thoroughly divorced itself from God. He explained how 

Billy Graham's school days weren't riddled with fears that students would be punished for handing out Christian literature, forming Bible clubs or leading organized prayer.

"Well, you say, 'Now Franklin, you father wouldn't get onto these subjects,'" insinuated Graham, who is also the president of Samaritan's Purse, a nonprofit Christian humanitarian organization. "Wait a second … My father, when he was going to school, they had a Bible in school. When he was going to school, they had the Ten Commandments on the wall. When he was going to school, you could pray in school, and the teachers would lead in those prayers."

Since his father, the 92-year-old Billy Graham, grew up decades before God, Bible reading and prayer were removed from the public schools in 1963 — which is also the year that evolution replaced creation as the dominant teaching about the origins of man and the universe — the younger 62-year-old Graham argues that the changed times call for him to speak on the many moral issues that Christians now face on a daily basis.

"The secularists and the humanists … you mention the name of Christ, they jump all over you," Graham contended. "I get jumped on all the time. I don't really care."

Secularization infiltration

Graham went on to argue that the secularization of society has long since extended beyond the schoolhouse gate, infiltrating virtually every facet of American society.

"It's all over the country," Graham insisted. "You have the secularists and the humanists who are wanting to deny that Jesus ever existed."

Billy Graham's son then talked about the ironic twist that came about in the late 1980s and early 1990s — a time when the Cold War ended and hearts went cold to God, as secularism, socialism and communism entered into American education, society and politics full force.

"When the Berlin wall came down, everybody said: 'We won,'" Graham remembered. "And secularism came. And secularism and communism are the same thing. They're godless. They're antichrist."

Only One hope, not 12

Graham argues that America is not what it used to be, as it has turned its back on the Christian principles upon which it was founded. And as another presidential election draws near, he contends that conservative politicians aren't the answer.

"America has changed and it's not coming back unless the Church takes a stand," Graham insisted. "Now I'm not talking about Baptists or Republicans or Tea Party … I have no confidence that any of these politicians or any party is going to turn this country around."

In the midst of the current political frenzy taking place, with a dozen conservative prospective candidates promising that they can turn America around from its godless, destructive path, Graham promises that no politician can deliver the country from falling apart.

"There is only one who can save — only one … Jesus," Graham added. "You see, Jesus is in the boat. All we have to do is call Him, call on His name."

As godless policies and laws continue to work their way into American society — from God being ousted from the public schools in 1963, to Roe v. Wade ushering in legalized abortion in 1973, to the floodgate of same-sex "marriage" opening in 2004, to the normalization of homosexual behavior in the military in 2011 — Graham warns that America will be judged for its disobedience and repudiation of God's Word.

"There are storms that are coming," Graham foretold. "The only hope for this country is for men and women of God to stand up and take a stand."

Do you really believe...?

That these prophecies concerning Judgement on America only applied to ancient Israel and Judah? Do you think that they only apply to the end-times and Israel? Do you think it's all just one big joke and laugh it all off ?

Think about this then: under the current administration the U.S. has all but turned it's back on it's only ally in the Middle East, that is Israel. The standing president of the U.S. is a muslim and has all but outlawed Christianity, claiming in his first campaign that the U.S. is no longer a Christian nation, and he has worked hard these last 6 years to prove it to the world and bring it to pass. Congress and the Judiciary, Federal, State and local is loaded with sodomites and/or their supporters. The Judiciary, under the U.S. Constitution are only permitted to rule on standing laws, however, now they interpret and enforce laws as they see fit, according to their particular political persusasions. Radical, militant homosexuals, atheists and muslims now run the public education systems, in fact the entire government is rife with them, and there are neighborhoods in the U.S. where non-muslims of any race dare not venture. 

The U.S. government has pushed Russia to the brink of desperation, and the Chinese, who are North Korea's best friends and ally, own the majority of U.S. debt. The Russians are allied with both. The standing president supports his muslim brethern in the middle east, i.e. Libya, Egypt, Syria and Iran. The muslims in Egypt (muslim brotherhood) and Libya have turned on him (Benghazi) Syria has given us ISIS, to which the president's response is to condemn the Christian Crusades at the National Day of Prayer breakfast in Washington D.C. His weak foreign policy has given the world a nuclear armed Iran and if anyone believes they will stop with the destruction of Israel, they are foolish indeed. Russia is loosely allied with both Iran and Syria and there's no telling where that will lead, but it does not bode well for the U.S. under the current, godless administration.

God has been "banned" from public schools since 1963, in 1973 abortion became legal and now, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, fundamental Christians are considered a hate group.

And then there is the small matter of 50 million murdered babies since the legalization of abortion under Roe vs. Wade. Child sacrifice to the false and demonic gods of "feminisim" and "freedom of choice" is no less abominable in the eyes of God than burning children alive in sacrifice to the demon-god Molech in ancient Canaan, Israel and Judah.

It may already be too late for America, however, Apostolic (1st century) Christianity isn't totally dead nor is Jesus Christ completely forgotten. Where Jesus is, there hope also is.

However, unless there is true, full, sincere repentance, from a national level, even the highest levels of government, to an individual level, then hope is all but lost. There is no salvation without true repentance. For you must understand that a Just and Holy God must judge an unholy, unjust, sinful nation (and/or individual), such as the U.S., for repeating the same sins as those committed by ancient Sodom, Gomorrah, Canaan, Israel and Judah, whom He destroyed or exiled, or He must apologize to them if He does not.

The last time I checked His Word, I could not find a single instance wherein He apologized to anyone for His righteous wrath and indignation for serious, repeated, blasphemies and affronts to His Holiness.

Be warned, America and Americans.

Judgement is coming to America...Part 4

Jeremiah 5

O Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth? Thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. ~ Jeremiah 5:3

Therefore I said, surely these are poor; they have become foolish; for they do not know the way of the LORD nor the judgment of their God. I will go unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke and burst the bonds. Therefore a lion out of the forest (Russia) shall slay them, and a wolf of the desert (Islam) shall destroy them and a tiger (Asia) shall lie in wait over their cities; anyone that goes out from there shall be torn in pieces because their rebellions have been multiplied, and their backslidings are increased. Shall I not visit for these things? said the LORD; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? ~ Jeremiah 5:4-6, 9

They have denied the LORD and said, He is not; and evil shall not come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine; but the prophets shall become like wind, and there is no word in them: thus shall it be done unto them. Therefore thus hath the LORD God of the hosts said: Because ye have spoken this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire and this people wood, and it shall devour them.Behold, I will bring a nation upon you from afar… saith the LORD; it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou dost not know, neither dost thou understand what they say ~ Jeremiah 5:12-15

And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities (are they not doing this already, with welfare, food stamps, public housing, tax-payer funded medical assistance etc. etc. etc?), wherein thou trustedst, with the sword (remember 9/11 and the Ft. Hood massacre in 2009 by “moderate, peaceful” Muslims? Wake up you fools and return to the LORD). Nevertheless in those days, saith the Lord, I will not make a full end with you. And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken Me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours. (because they are slowly taking it away from you and you are allowing it!) ~ Jeremiah 5:17-19

Hear now this, O foolish people and without heart, who have eyes and do not see; who have ears, and do not hear: Do ye not fear me? saith the LORD; will ye not tremble at my presence…? But this people have a false and rebellious heart; they turned and went. Neither do they say in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God…Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you. For among my people were found wicked men: they lay in wait as he that sets snares; they set a trap of perdition to catch men. As a cage full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit; thus they became great and rich. They are become fat; they shine; yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness;…with all this they made themselves prosperous…Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? A horrible and ugly thing is committed in the land: The prophets prophesied falsely, and the priests bore rule by their hands; and my people love to have it so. What will ye do in the end thereof? ~ Jeremiah 5:21-31

Jeremiah 6

As the waters never cease to flow from a fountain, so her wickedness never ceases to flow; injustice and robbery is heard in her; in My presence continually, sickness and wounds. ~ Jeremiah 6:7

 To whom shall I speak, and give warning that they may hear? behold, their ears are uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken, behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I have worked hard to hold myself in from pouring it out upon the children in the street, and upon the assembly of young men together; for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord. For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.  ~ Jeremiah 6:10-13

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? no, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush; therefore, they shall fall among those that shall fall: at the time that I visit them they shall fall, saith the LORD. Thus hath the LORD said, Stand ye in the ways and see and ask for the old paths, where the good way is and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. Therefore hear, ye Gentiles, and know, O congregation of Gentiles. Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts because they have not hearkened unto my words, and they hated my law. ~ Jeremiah 6:15-19

Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish. Thus hath the LORD said, Behold, a people come from the land of the north wind (Russia), and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth (Middle East and Asia)… they are cruel, and they shall have no mercy; (have you read the headlines recently? ISIS burns their prisoners alive, even their own people, fellow Muslims) Do not go forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side. ~ Jeremiah 6:21-23, 25

They are all rebellious princes; they walk with deception: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters. The bellows are burned; the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melts in vain; for the wicked are not plucked away. Reprobate silver shall men call them because the LORD has rejected them. ~ Jeremiah 6:28-30

Wake up O foolish America---your judgement and condemnation are at hand. For your own sakes---wake up and return to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

The Holy Spirit: Wild-eyed Fanatics

Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.—1 Thessalonians 5:19-21

This is a crude illustration, but let me tell you what we did after planting a field of corn when I was a young fellow in Pennsylvania. To save the field of corn from the crows, we would shoot an old crow and hang him by his heels in the middle of the field. This was supposed to scare off all of the crows for miles around. The crows would hold a conference and say, "Look, there is a field of corn but don't go near it. I saw a dead crow over there!"

That's the kind of conference that Satan calls, and that is exactly what he has done. He has taken some fanatical, weird, wild-eyed Christians who do things that they shouldn't, and he has stationed them in the middle of God's cornfield, and warns, "Now, don't you go near that doctrine about the Holy Spirit because if you do, you will act just like these wild-eyed fanatics." The Counselor, p 63.

"Keep us, Lord, from shying away from such valuable truth and experience as the ministry of the Holy Spirit because of the excesses of a few fanatics. We lose too much, and we can't afford the loss. Amen."
